Criteria​

Submissions must not have been previously published or currently considered for another publication/journal.

Research projects/papers should be reviewed by the professor in whose class the research was conducted.​

Guidelines
Submissions should include:
-
Name
-
Student ID number
-
Genre (research, visual art, study abroad reflection, etc.)
-
School e-mail address

For research:
-
MLA format or Chicago Style of Manual
-
Works cited page
-
Times New Roman 12 point font, double-spaced

Further criteria:​

Submit works via school email as an attachment; do not paste it into the body of the email.

Visual art/comics may be scans or photos merged into a Word doc or PDF.
-
Please use "International Journal + Genre" in the subject line of email.

Genre rules:
-
Research papers: Must be original research that fully examines the topic
-
Short-fiction: 1 full-length story or up to 3 flash pieces
-
Theater: 1 one-act or excerpt of full-length play or screenplay; maximum 20 pages
-
Poetry: 1 to 3 poems
-
Comics: 1 to 7 standalone comics or 1 complete comic strip/story
-
Visual art: 3-7 images
​(Depending on the number of submissions, an allowance may be made to include longer works or multiple submissions by the same contributors.)​

If you are interested in submitting for multiple genres, please send a separate email for each submission and label your subject line accordingly.
